The brochure includes advice and tips on how to determine what supplementary health coverage is needed and what the options are; questions to ask before making a purchase; and an explanation of how the claims process works. It also provides contact information for health benefit plans in all the provinces and territories.
The travel insurance brochure is part of a series of publications available on CLHIA's website on products offered by the Canadian life and health insurance industry. The other brochures currently available cover life insurance, supplementary health insurance, and segregated funds.
